In November, we took a wonderful tour of Senegal and The Gambia. We started in Dakar, visiting the University of Cheikh Anta Diop and later spending hours at the Museum of Black Civilization. Our trip was by road, which was good because we made many stops. The ferry took us to Gambia, We stopped to cook an African dish in a nearby village before going to Juffureh, a real treat. Cheikh Karre, our driver and guide, was great, the hotels on our stay were comfortable and the food delicious. The experience was beautiful. Kola Nut Travel delivered a great experience.
We planned a West African Duo trip to visit Senegal and the Gambia. Scottye suggested that we change planes in Paris, and spend a few days there. The first two days we explored Paris. Then we met Ealy, our Paris Noir guide. We explored the Latin Quarter, Chateau Rouge, and many other locals. After arriving in Dakar, and later going to the Gambia, we were overwhelmed with joy. Good shopping, cuisine, and beautiful people. I still reflect on the contrasting experiences I had in Europe and in West Africa. Excellent trip, Thank You Kola Nut!
I thought that the highlight of my trip to Egypt would be to see the pyramids, Museum, and the Sphinx. That was just the beginning. Ahmed, our Ancient Egyptian guide, taught us so much while on a wonderful 4 day Nile cruise. I enjoyed Aswan , my stay in a Nubian owned guest house, and the early morning departure to Abu Simbel. OMG! Thank you, Kola Nut Travel for a memorable trip.
We are back from Cuba. It has been 14-days, 336 hours, 20,160 minutes and 1,209,600 seconds since we returned. It was nicenice traveling on a Bus (TWO BIG BUSES) around the countryside of Cuba from Havana to Santiago. It was a Spiritually Uplifting journey traveling with the Kola Nut. What I liked best was how we were given material to help us prepare for our African Heritage Cuba Tour.
