East Africa Duo

East African Tour

December 3-15, 2024

This is not the traditional tour to Tanzania and Zanzibar, where the entire trip is spent on Safari. Kola Nut Travel is doing something a little different by focusing on the culture, the terrain, and the arts. While in the vicinity of Arusha, our group will have a taste of the Safari lifestyle before jetting off to Zanzibar, where other experiences await you. Space is very limited; the maximum number is 12 travelers.

Your guide will be a storehouse of information, and quite capable of giving you the answers to questions not yet asked.

What’s next will be your game drive in Tarangire. has incredible diversity, massive baobab trees, and herds of elephants. Tarangire is huge. As you stand at the park gate and look south, it stretches as far as the eye can see. Known as the ‘Elephant Playground,’ this phenomenal park contains huge herds of these mighty mammals. It is also home to buffalo, lion, wildebeest, zebra and gazelle.  This national park can rival the Serengeti for sheer animal densities. What might you see today? Perhaps a solitary male lion stretched out beneath a tree, perhaps a trio of male cheetahs enjoying some lazy bonding-time in the sun. Maybe some graceful Grant’s gazelle or zebra bounding.
