Panafest, the Pan African Historical Theater Festival, will be officially celebrated July 23 – August 2, 2023. We will arrive on July 26 and depart on August 6, 2023. Your 12 days will include the Emancipation Day festivities, lectures, artistic events, and visits to sites of historical significance that reflect the 15th Century enslavement of Africa’s children. Much ground will be covered, visiting Ghana’s natural reserves, artists' communities in Kumasi, and Bonwire, and experiencing a total immersion into the culture by visiting the home of a Ghanaian family.
