If you decide to handle your own travel arrangements, please make sure that you are in Ghana on the 1st day of the tour. Hotel Check-in is usually in the afternoon, which means your room may not be available if you arrive in the morning. Remember to email Kola Nut Travel your confirmed flight arrangements.
Your Kola Nut Travel Form can be completed online. You will need to print the completed form out and signed it. Your US passport must be valid for at least nine months after the end of this trip. This means that it should not expire before the end of December. It is your responsibility to keep track of your passport’s name and expiration date.
It is important to apply for your Ghanian Visa prior to departure. Allow yourself at least 6 weeks or more to complete the online application. You will need to send your Visa Application along with your passport, funds for the processing, and requested passport photos. ***Note, in the past you could obtain the passport at the airport upon arrival. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT AT THIS TIME.
