US Citizens can no longer bring Cuban Cigars and Liquor back to the USA.
Support of the Cuban People
Tourism is prohibited in Cuba. Kola Nut Travel will coordinate travel programs to Support the Cuban people with daily activities that will focus on one or more custom experiences. These programs may focus on education/literacy, green medicine, holistic farming, health, art, dance, or music. All participants will be introduced to the cultural heritage of Cuba, and learn about community-based projects.
How is the air carrier notified of my intention to travel to Cuba?
Kola Nut Travel creates an electronic document within our GDS system that in turn notifies the carrier. This service is provided to those who arrange their own air through us. Any air arranged independently must arrive at the Havana Airport at the time of the start of the tour.
Airline Health Coverage vs Travel Protection Coverage?
All US air carriers provide medical travel coverage for approximately $300. This is the minimum required. For full coverage of your travel, we recommend travel insurance. Click here for Travel Insurance additional information.
